Apartments Zorica Lopar

The Apartment house is located in Lopar – San Marino and is only 150m away from the biggest sand beach called »Rajska plaža« Heaven beach, very close to the house ( 50m to 200m ) are also a grocery shop, a bank, souvenir shops, an amusement centre and a doctor .

Smaller house with only 2 apartments which accommodate 4 – 6 people , has a very beautiful garden with set of swings for children, a stone build grill/ barbecue and it´ s own parking place in front of the house.

Apartments both have their own entrance, 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living room, bathroom and a big balcony. In the kitchen there is a refrigerator, a gas and electric stove, microwave and a coffee and hot water machine. Both apartments are on the second floor.

There is satellite TV and internet in both apartments, they are very nicely equip and are always very clean. Both apartments are air conditioned.

The owner of the house Zorica is a very nice lady, who spends winters in Slovenia and can also be reached at Slovene tel. number, but from April until October she takes care of her guests in Lopar.

Lopar is a tourist place on the island of Rab, 12 km away from the old town of Rab. The place is known for its exceptional natural beauty and picturesque sandy beaches along the highly indented coastline. The main economic activities of the local population include tourism, agriculture, stock-breeding and fishery. Lopar is surrounded by numerous islands and islets, notably Goli otok, Grgur, Lukovac and Školjić.

A hundred years of tourist tradition in Lopar and significant investments into tourism, the island’s pristine nature and valuable cultural and historical heritage, as well as the many prizes the island of Lopar has been winning for years, are a guarantee of a supreme quality vacation. In 2003, Lopar was awarded the “Blue Sail” award, awarded to the best small town in the Kvarner region. In year 2011 Lopar won "Blue flower"for best small touristic place in region and special award for the best beaches offer in Croatia.

After having spent the entire day enjoying the sun, the sea and sports activities, the best thing to do is to relax taking an evening walk and taking a look at the numerous shops, souvenir shops, entertainment parks, restaurants and bars, which offer a rich selection of sweets and cocktails, live music and dance, entertainment activities and beauty contests.

The island of Rab is situated in the northern Adriatic Sea as part of the Kvarner archipelago. Besides the old town of Rab, there are 7 more places on the island: Lopar, Supetarska Draga, Banjol, Barbat, Palit, Kampor, Mundanije. There are about 9 000 inhabitants living on the island. The local people are involved in organized tourism for more than 120 years, and accompanying activities such as fishery, stock breeding, olive growing, wine making, ship building, etc.

The first and foremost factor that enabled the development of tourism in the island was the pleasant Mediterranean climate, the main features of which are warm summers and mild winters.

Paradise beach (Rajska plaža) is 2km long and is located on the northern part of the island of Rab, in a small tourist resort Lopar. It was awarded a Blue flag because of its quality offer and clean waters. The beach is sandy and somewhat shallow which is ideal for children. There is a big sports center in the neighborhood with different playgrounds and tennis, soccer, basketball, volleyball, miniature golf and table tennis courts.

You can also try the water slide as well as numerous other activities and water sports. The beach is being supervised by experienced lifeguards from 09:00 to 18:00, so you can relax and enjoy your vacation. There are outdoor showers, public toilettes and changing rooms on the beach, as well as the possibility of renting deck-chairs and beach umbrellas.
