Our house is situated in the village of Selo, 800 m from the Bled lake and 1500 m from the Bled centre. We can offer:

The house is brand new, pleasantly aragend in country style. Every room is equipped with TV, internet connection, bathroom and balcony or terrace.

Selo at Bled is a nice starting point for hikers and bikers, or just for a quiet stroll along the Sava River. Village of Bled is a lovely idyllic rural village where time stood still, away from city crowds, in idyllic peaceful environment with a mild alpine climate. Breathe the breath and live in a pleasant, peaceful and healthy sourrounding. Surrounding area has many cycling routes for the demanding and less demanding. To guests we rent bikes, price is 5 euro for four hours or 10 euro for all day. After a busy day, relax in our home sauna. We have a Finnish and bio sauna with selected essential oils. Price per person is EUR 10 for three hours.

In the summer it offers active holidays to all those who like cycling, hiking, climbing, running or nordic walking, fishing, rafting, golf, tennis, table tennis, swimming……but also those who like horses will find here their joys. In the winter you have a perfect starting point for skiing (the nearest is Straža-Bled, but also Vogel and Kobla, Krvavec and Kranjska gora are not far away) cross-country skiing (Pokljuka), ice skating (Bled) and ski mountineering. You can also go for a swimm, into the indoor swimming pools of the Bled hotels, wich offer you all sorts of wellness programs. If you are not fan of active holidays you will be able just to enjoy the quietness in a calm and green environment of the beautiful nature. In short, we ofer for everybody something interesting.

In the nearest vicinity you will find many interesting places you can visit and activities in which you can spice up your free time:

* Triglav National Park Bled is situated on the outskirts of the Triglav National Park, the only one in Slovenia. In its vicinity lies a lot of easy accessible and interesting atractions.

* Pokljuka with wonderful forest and bicycle paths

* Pokljuka Gorge

* The cave under Babji zob

* Lake Bohinj

* Gorge Vindgar is 1.6 km long and decorated by Radovna river with waterfalls, pools and rapids

BLED GOLF COURSE It extends to almost 100 ha of land. The field has 27 holes and is one of the largest and most beautiful golf courses in Europe.

FISHERIES Our pension is near the lake and not far from the river Sava, where are the best districts. Allowed catches of catfish, pike, carp and trout. The beautifully landscaped casting center in Ribno it is possible to test the discipline of the dry casting.

ALPINE AIR CENTER LESCE Panoramic flights to Bled, Bohinj and fly through the Triglav National Park, by convention, the flights are possible over the whole Slovenia.

BLED IN WINTER

* Cross-country skiing, the surrounding villages have beautifully arranged tracks, more complex lines are on the plateau Pokljuka. It is possible to rent equipment, here is a school cross-country skiing.

* Alpine skiing. Just a few minutes from the center of Bled is the ski resort Straža, a small ski resort that also has night skiing. It is possible to hire equipment and it has a ski school.

* Skating. Nearby is also a gym where you can skate on the ice.

* Ski touring, ski touring for all, throughout the beautiful surrounding mountains from baseline in Pokljuka. You can rent equipment and hire a guide.

For romantic souls, the beautiful winter walk around the lake, when the night falls, the entire path nicely lit. But when the lake freezes, you can even go walking on the island.

We have a family tradition of boating on the Bled lake with the rowing boat called pletna. The usual tour takes to the island with ancient church and bell of wishes. * A trip with pletna (per person) 12 euros * groups have 10% discount

Nearby are the mountains (Galetove, Babji zob), which offers you a charming view of the surroundings and also serve as a starting point for hiking and trips to the Triglav National Park (500-2800 m above sea level), all with marked routes. You have the possibility of walking alone or with a guide. Mountain guides lead you to 300 m deep karst cave with numerous stalactites, or on the cliff called Babji zob.

The lake was created with the withdrawal of the Bohinj glacier. It is long 2120m , and 1380 m wide, maximum depth is 30.6 m, according to the Tectonic origin. Major natural lake has no tributaries, fed by a few springs. The thermal springs in the northeast part are made in three swimming pools - Grand Hotel Toplice, Hotel Park and Golf. Points in the picturesque island of the western part of the lake.

One of the first things you seen in Lake Bled is certainly Bled Island. The island is pretty well covered with vegetation, which almost obscure the island buildings, this is the bell tower, church, chaplains.... About the island there are many legends, one used in his master work even our greatest poet France Preseren. Bled Castle - from written sources is the oldest Slovenian castle, first mentioned in 1011 as a castellum Veldes.

On the mighty steep cliff that rises 130 m above the glacial Lake Bled, stands a symbol of Bled and Slovenia - Bled Castle. The image of the castle above the lake with romantic island and Bled’s church is one feature, which has become visible through the centuries at home and abroad. The terrace of the castle is an extraordinary view of the lake to the island, around the country with Lesce and Radovljica the hands and by the mountainous world Karavanke and the Julian Alps.
