There is lots to do in all of the seasons, you are a click away from enjoying a relaxing yet fun filled holiday!

The house is located in the Slovenian village of Bohinjska Bistrica in the Bohinj valley on the edge of the Triglav National Park, a ski and holiday destination jewel. It is 500 metres from the centre where you will find all manner of amenities, including shops, post office, bank, medical centre, dentist, bus stop, railway station, bars, restaurants, police station and tourist offices. The village is 6 km from Bohinj lake, about 30km from lake Bled , and about 45km from the airport ( about 45 mins by car subject to conditions).

The house is situated in a very quiet part of the village and is a traditional alpine style with a basement comprising a sauna, laundry, drying room, bath and shower room, seperate toilet, ski room and freezer. The ground floor is separated by a landing door and has 1 double bedroom, 1 lounge double bed settee, seating for 6, lcd tv & dvd and a cosy open fireplace.There is a live-in kitchen to seat 6/7 persons.The equipment comprises of a cooker, fridge, oven, worktop with basin and drainer, ample cupboard space. Fully equipped to cook for up to 10 people. There is a wash basin in the bedroom and a separate bathroom with a shower/toilet and an adjacent toilet. There is access to the basement from in the house. The flooring is ceramic tiled and parquet flooring to lounge and bedroom. There is cushion flooring in the kitchen. This area sleeps 4. The upper floors comprise of a bathroom and toilet, one double bedroom, two bedrooms fitted with double and one single each. Each bedroom has a wash basin.

The top floor has a new lounge for 2009 to seat 6/8 persons in comfortand faces the south rear orchord garden. Equiped with Siol tv and dvd. The floors are covered with laminate except the ceramic tiles to the galley kitchen equiped to cater for 8 . There is a revised dining area for 2009 with direct views towards Mt Triglav as well as the west facing balcony for those memerable sunsets. All the rear balconies face the garden which is south facing and gets the sun all day until late afternoon.

The house has full central heating and individual radiator thermostats, the house has full central heating which reverts to a heat pump in the summer keeping the house cool. House shoes are recommended and there is a smoking ban inside the property from 1st August 2007, when Slovenia came into line with most of Europe (the house is also made of wood mainly).

A car is recommended so that you can explore the area and access all of the amenities and activities. The house can be rented as described or as one unit for up to a max. 12 persons .Outside you will find front facing balconies directly towards the mountains, childs swing set installed for the new season. There is a car port for 2 and 2 other car park spaces. There is a grassed area to each side of the house and a large 800 sq. metre orchard garden. At the rear of the house is a large patio area part of which is covered and seats 8 with comfort. There are two BBQ's in the rear garden as well as a grassed play area for children. The basement and garden areas are shared with other guests in the house .

In Autumn there are splendid varied colours and pleasant temperatures. The summer crowds have gone. Now You Can Enjoy yourself. A very quiet environment as the valley settles into a very enjoyable season. Clear skies warm sunshine. So much still to see and do. Enjoy quite country roads, tour the cheese farms, dairy museum, historic sites and interesting houses in alpine valley's. Fish in the slow moving rivers or get on the river and paddle canoe or white water raft. Try hydrospeeding in the Soča valley . Yes there is always a challenge waiting for the adventurer. After exploring Bohinj you can settle down with a drink and some of the delicious food Slovenia has to offer or relax in the sauna of your autumn accomodation.

Enjoy the long sunny summer days and the traditional Slovenian food and wine at the end of a fun filled recreation or lazy sun bathing day. Swimming in lakes and rivers, enjoy the Aqua park or drive out for a game of golf at Bled. There are short lake walks on flat paths or for the more advanced we have many 3,4,5,6 and 8 hour walks. Or you could try Triglav (recommended with a guide, don't forget book the lodge in advance in the summer) a two day climbing experience. Let the thermals take you soaring above the valley, paragliding. You can try mountain biking on the many trails or enjoying the quiet valley with young children. Then after you have had an active day visiting the many facilities available in Slovenia in summer time, relax in your ski home located in lovely Bohinj. There are so many things to enjoy.

As the snow melts from the low meadow leaving it just on the high moutains like a white soft blanket it allows the spring flowers to blossom. April can be a floral bonaza month and May is the time to see the delicate alpine flowers.This is also a good time to dust off the mountain bike and hit those forest trails again. Spring also provides an abundance of water for rafting, hydrospeeding and the fishing season gets into swing so get out those chest waders, rods and fly. If you just want to be lazy why not visit some of our wonderfull waterfalls, take in the fresh air enjoy traditional coffee and cakes the area is famous for. Take the car train to the Soca valley. Visit the Soca river its blue limestone waters and enjoy warm spring days in fabulous scenery. You can then go and enjoy a warm spring night back in you ski home accomodation.
