Apartments Vila Sumić are located on the most beautiful part of Makarska, only 100 meters from one of the most beautiful sandy pebble beaches on the Adriatic, surrounded by lots of greenery, flowers, olive trees and palm trees, a beautiful green oasis, not far from everything that belongs to holiday, beaches, ambulance, wellness, car rental, top-class restaurants and romantic walking routes beneath the foot of the mighty mountain Biokovo.

There are apartments with one, two or three bedrooms, for 2 to 8 persons, all air-conditioned, with wifi, modernly equipped, including a dishwasher and washing machine. They have balconies or terraces with a beautiful view of the sea, and on the ground floor are also suitable for disabled people. We accept pets by prior arrangement.

The town of Makarska has evolved in a natural bay sheltered by picturesque peninsula of Sveti Peter and cape Osejava and is the largest and only such a gulf between the mouth of the Cetina and Neretva. It offers a safe haven and shelter from bad weather, sometimes it was offered to seafarers, pirates and merchants, today tourist yachts, sailboats and pleasure boats. This has contributed to the fact that it became an important trading port, especially during the Turkish and Venetian occupation. Today sails from the port several times a day a ferry to Sumartin on Brac.

Sandy and pebble beach is almost 2 km long and has always been a hallmark of Makarska. It is located at 43 ° 17 ´38´´ latitude and 17 ° 1´ 20´´  length, about in the middle of the north-western half of the Makarska littoral.

Makarska has always been the center of Makarska’s coast, political, economic, cultural and educational, since the mid-20th century also tourism. Today it is a city with more than 15 thousand inhabitants, to which also belong to the picturesque villages under Biokovo Veliko Brdo, Puharići, Kotišina and Makar, after which it takes its name Makarska.
