Balconys offer a breathtaking view on the sea, the Lovrjan and also to Rijeka. There is secure parking. The apartments are tastefully furnished, at your disposal and microwave oven, satellite TV and air condition.

House is located in a quiet, peaceful environment, beautiful decorated beaches of Lovran are in the distance less than 500 meters. Pets accepted by arrangement. If necessary, you can also do laundry. The only thing you will miss here is a few days more to stay.

Medveja beach is a beautiful beach and is a good choice for beachside cocktail-sipping or a stylish family outing. A neat crescent of shingle lying at the foot of verdant hills on Istria’s eastern side, Medveja has always been something of a beach connoisseur’s choice. Latterly, the arrival of beach-café culture and an improved range of activities for kids has turned Medveja into a prime destination for a stylish family outing. If you want to feel the high-season buzz of a something-for-all-ages beach, then there are few better places to experience it than here. Leap around in the bouncy-castle-style fun park floating just off the shore, or cruise the coast in a pedalo. The Hemingway lounge-bar is right on the beach, dishing out cocktails and chill-out music throughout the day, and upping the musical tempo as the evening progresses.

High up on the hillside and reached by a windy road, Draga di Lovrana serves local seafood with a nouvelle-cuisine twist, and offers stunning views from its terrace. Just south of Lovran the most beautiful beaches of this part of Croatia can be found. The village has two long crescents of shingles: one can be pretty crowded and is near a large campsite. The campsite is beautifully located in a narrow valley with rocks and forests on both sides. It's possible to hire a little house on the campsite and there are some little shops and a restaurant on it as well. The other beach is on walking distance a little more to the South (behind the rocks with the little palace and minigolf). This one is more quiet and is partly used as a nudist beach. A little river is flowing in the sea. Fondest memory, that you can take home with you is sitting on the beach in the evening with the little noise of the river that flows into the sea and the sun slowly disapearing behind Mount Ucka.

Town Square with its Romanesque bell tower and a series of baroque houses, parish church, a small chapel by the sea, are only a few segments that make up the historical monuments and ancient cultural values of Lovran and give a special atmosphere to this small Mediterranean town. Opatija is the oldest town in Liburnia, which is mentioned in historical sources is in the 7th century when it was listed from a unknown Laurian traveler from Ravenna. Confirmation that Lovran is dating from the 7th century can be also found in the poem of Patriarch Paulinus of Aquileia. Lovran was named after the plant laurel (Laurus nobilis), which grows abundantly in the area. Tourism began to develop in Lovran in year 1873 when it was built Villa Fernandea and in year 1898 Lovran was declared as a health resort. This attacted to Lovran area many distinguished guests who have built their villas, which are still attracting attention with its distinctive style of the Austro-Hungarian architecture.

Lovran had through history excellent sailors and traders, but their sailing ships could not compete with steamships and the place soon turned to tourism as the main source of income. Today in Lovran you can accommodate in a number of beautiful villas and hotels, while the summer refreshments are available at two town beaches (Peharovo and Kvarner) and a series of small beaches.

In this extraordinary blend of past and present, and the sea and mountains, develops also Lovran’s hinterland which fosters rural tourism which has database in delicious indigenous products such as chestnuts, asparagus and cherries. In Lovran preserved historic old town, which is surrounded by medieval walls. Inside the Old City can find many buildings dating from the 13th and 14 century, and only some are fully preserved, such as the eastern gate Stubica. Right next to the old town is the Chapel of St. Trinity, which dates from the 13th century and is located in the park.

Opatija, often called the “Nice of the Adriatic”, is one of Croatia's most renowned tourist destinations, and also the town with the longest tourist tradition on the eastern shores of the Adriatic.

Opatija was the first resort on the Adriatic to introduce tourism statistics in 1883. The first hotel, Kvarner, was built with Austrian investment in 1884 right on the coast. Others followed, and today Opatija has around twenty hotels as well as a number of restaurants and sport and leisure centres. Opatija's fame has stretched far and wide across Europe. As an elite tourist resort, it has played host to some eminent visitors, including princesses and kings.

Due to the relatively mild climate, Opatija's tourist facilities appeal to visitors throughout summer and winter alike. Guests and visitors to Opatija have many choices – there is the twelve kilometre promenade along the coast (Lungomare), bathing, or perhaps a visit to one of the many restaurants, or watching the international Adriatic regatta. Go swimming in summer; escape from the cold in winter!

Situated below the mountain and Nature Park Učka, Opatija (old names: Sankt Jakobi, Abbazia) is a great choice for a vacation in summer and winter season. Beautiful nature, climate, parks, hotels & old Austrian villas, seaside promenade and beaches attract tourists from Europe and all over the world for more then 160 years.

Opatija is the leading tourist destination in the Republic of Croatia for the organization of conventions. Along with festivals, concerts, exhibits, and other cultural and sport events Opatija offers attractions worth visiting during the whole year! OPATIJA - this elegant tourist destination, lies at the centre of the Riviera with the longest tradition of tourism in Croatia. The very attractive geographic position, enabling its warm seas to be quickly reached from many cities in Central Europe (only about 500 km from Milan, Vienna and Münich), lush green scenery and a pleasant climate (45° 20’ north latitude) were some of the main reasons for its beginning and the quick development of its tourism at the end of the 19th century. Built mainly at the turn of the 20th century,

Opatija has remained in complete harmony with Nature right up until the present day. Well-maintained public gardens, the illuminated 12-km-long coastal promenade known as the "Lungomare", well-kept beaches and fountains provide a stunning backdrop for the villas and hotels that cater comfortably for up to 6,000 guests. Due to a relatively constant temperature (winter average 7.0 °C, summer average 21.9 °C), high air pressure and constant circulation of air, the climate in Opatija is relaxing and refreshing.

The contrasts of sea and mountains, green parks and blue ocean, old buildings and modern comforts, noisy entertainment venues and quiet destinations for excursions all combine to make Opatija and its surroundings a very attractive tourist resort at any time of the year. The tourist offering of Opatija includes its congress centre (with space for 500 to 800 delegates), 11 indoor swimming pools, wellness programmes, a casino, discotheques, a summer theatre with seating for 2,000, carnivals, festivals, and opportunities for shorter trips to nearby surroundings or all-day excursions to the Plitvice Lakes or Risnjak National Park, or even to Venice in Italy.

The characteristics of the climate have all the traits of a gentle Mediterranean climate with a warm sea, lots of sun and lush vegetation which paints a picture of Opatija as a kind of green oasis. Summer temperatures are relatively low beceause of the cool breezes to come from the Ucka mountains while in winter, the temperature is relatively high. Opatija is also a place for business meetings throughout the entire year as well as a center for convention tourism, scientific gatherings and congresses. In addition, for those ailing from cardio-vascular illnesses, there is therapy and rehabilitation available in Thalassotherapija.

The Pearl of Kvarner-Opatija is an ideal starting point for an inspired walk through the past of this region, as well as for taking pleasure in the intimacy of the still untouched present.
