Brodarica is a suburb of the city Šibenik situated 5 kilometers far from center of Šibenik. It is very well connected with Adriatic Highway which divides it into two parts. There are many buses driving to Brodarica, so you will always be able to find transport. People in Brodarica are mainly working in tourism and fishing. There is also small island Krapanj famous for its sponge harvesting. Accommodation in Brodarica is mostly private apartments and villas which is ideal for peaceful family vacation.

Brodarica is the gourmet center of its area, since you can find many quality restaurants serving seafood and other specialties.

KRAPANJ is the smallest, the lowest and most populated island on Mediterranean, with area of 0,36 km2 and altitude of 1,5 m. It is known for traditional sponge industry. Distance from Brodarica, which is the nearest land, is 300 m.
